About Us
We are Ruben and Dianella. Ten years ago we started like so many modern love stories: with a Tinder date and a "let's see where this goes". Spoiler: this went very far.
After one month together we were already in a tent on the cliffs of Normandy. Wind, cold, little comfort... and yet we thought: yes, this is a good idea. That moment immediately proved that if you survive this together, you can handle anything. Since then, we have been in a loving rollercoaster in which we support each other, catch each other, and sometimes just make each other laugh way too hard.
Ruben (April 1985) started as a medical instrument maker and later decided that he preferred wood. Meanwhile, he is literally and figuratively building for the future.
Dianella (October 1986) started her training with scissors and hairdryers, but exchanged them for stethoscopes and plasters. Nowadays she is a doctor's assistant and therefore officially the one with the most medical knowledge in the house.
We have been together 10 years (since 6-6-2016), and 3 years engaged. The engagement took place on 25-12-2022 at Playa Forti in Curaçao, because yes: if you do it, do it right.
In short: started with a swipe, tested in a tent, engaged in the sun - and now ready for the next chapter 💍✨
Day Planning
Below you will find an overview of the planning for our wedding day. We have done our best to organize a beautiful and relaxed day, where we can celebrate our love together with you.
Ceremony
For Day Guests
We gather at 11:30 at Paviljoen De Rietzoom where a bus departs at 12:00 that brings everyone to the Ceremony location Fraeylemaborg. Please be on time, because the bus really departs. And running after the bus in festive clothes is not recommended 😉
Reception
For Day Guests
After the ceremony we move to the adjacent restaurant De Boerderij (around 14:00) for a drink. While you relax, we quickly pretend we know how to pose 📸😉
At 15:00 we all get on the bus back to De Rietzoom.
Dinner
For Day Guests
At De Rietzoom we will be welcomed with a drink. Then it's time for a relaxed dinner with good food, good conversations, and a drink within reach. Don't expect a fancy table setting, but expect coziness and enough fuel to get through the evening.
Party
For All Guests
The party is at Paviljoen De Rietzoom. From 20:00 it's the moment when the bar becomes more important than the schedule. And the feet leave the floor, hands in the air, and you can show your secret dance moves - maybe you'll start a limbo competition or grab a microphone for a spontaneous singing solo. The harder you dance, the greater our pleasure! 💃🕺
At 24:00 we close the party, so make that dance floor unsafe while you can! ✨

Dresscode:
For our big day we choose Cocktail Chic. Festive, stylish and well-groomed. Think of an elegant dress, jumpsuit trouser or suit.
Denim and prints we leave in the closet for this day. ✨
